Every entry in this reading room rests on dated public captures of usui-reiki.org and on the public record around the school that published here.
The room is built from dated captures, not from memory. The primary source is the public web archive's record of usui-reiki.org, which holds the site at intervals between August 2000 and 2025. Those captures show three distinct eras.
The static years, 2000 to about 2016
The first site was hand-built, page by page: a splash screen promising a comprehensive Reiki and meditation resource, then a plain table of contents holding about forty pages. What is Reiki, the history of Reiki, the Reiki ideals in English and Japanese, a session protocol, distance healing, aura and chakra notes, a silent meditation technique, grief healing, Reiki clinic pages for Woburn and Winchester, and a small set of Jikiden Reiki pages after 2008.
The WordPress years, about 2017 to 2023
The site moved to WordPress and reorganized around services: Usui Reiki classes, Jikiden Reiki seminars, private sessions, grief healing, holistic massage, a gallery and testimonials. The slogan of that era, Compassion in Action, sat under the DovenStar Intuitive Reiki Center name.
The spam years, 2024 to 2025
After the school stopped publishing, the domain was picked up and repurposed as a French-language content farm unrelated to Reiki. Those addresses are retired here, answered with a permanent gone rather than a redirect.
What the record shows and does not
The captures kept the navigation, the class lists, the published prices and the explanatory pages. They did not keep appointment books, student records or correspondence, and nothing here pretends otherwise. Where the record is silent, the entry says so. Where the school's own telling differs from the researched version of Reiki history, the entry keeps both and says which is which.
